Held at the National Press Club, the half-day forum will focus on "building a 21st century workforce educated in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) to maintain global competitiveness in biomedical research and deliver medical advances to patients." In the panel "The Faces of STEM," Lewis is slated to join representatives from Amgen Inc., Cubist Pharmaceuticals, and Citizen Schools in discussing work to advance science literacy and improve STEM education.
