EDC will receive $13 million over the next five years to support grantees and staff of the Maternal and Child Health Bureau’s Division of Home Visiting and Early Childhood Systems. Announced by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the HV-Improvement Action Center Team (HV-ImpACT) will advance grantees' work to provide evidence-based home visiting services that ensure at-risk pregnant mothers and families have the resources they need to raise children who are physically, socially, and emotionally healthy and ready to learn.
EDC was selected to lead the initiative by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration, Maternal and Child Health Bureau. EDC’s partners on the project are Georgetown University Center for Child and Human Development, American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), Change Matrix, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
