From 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. ET, the REL Northeast & Islands will offer the free webinar, "Disciplinary Data Use and Research: Lessons from Syracuse." Co-moderated by EDC's Jessica Bailey with Anthony Petrosino and Cailean Cooke, this webinar will feature keynote presenter Daniel Losen (Director, Center for Civil Rights Remedies, University of California, Los Angeles) and discussants Andrew Seager of EDC and Lu Han (Data Analyst, Syracuse New York School District). Targeted toward district leaders and school-based practitioners, education researchers and technical assistance providers, state-level policymakers, and alliance members, the webinar will lead a conversation on using data to inform school improvement, with a special focus on disciplinary data and Syracuse City Schools.
